If you experience any issue during your rental, your safety comes first. Pull over to a safe location, turn on your hazard lights, and then follow the steps below based on your situation.
Flat Tyre or Vehicle Problem
If you have a flat tyre or experience any vehicle problem that prevents you from driving safely:
Pull over to a safe location away from traffic.
Turn on your hazard lights.
Do not attempt to continue driving.
Contact our support team via the in-app chat immediately — our team will assess the situation and arrange assistance for you.
Low Battery / Fuel Warning
Electric vehicles: If the battery level is running low, plan your return to a Flexar station before the battery is fully depleted. The battery level is shown both in the app and on the dashboard.
Petrol and hybrid vehicles: If the fuel warning light comes on, please continue to the nearest available Flexar station to end your rental. Do not leave the vehicle stranded due to an empty fuel tank — a recovery fee may apply.
📌 Fuel and charging costs are included in your rental. If you notice the battery or fuel level is critically low at the start of your rental, please report it via the in-app Damage / Cleanliness Report before driving off.
Warning Lights on the Dashboard
If a warning light appears on the dashboard:
Pull over safely when it is safe to do so.
Do not ignore warning lights — some may indicate a safety issue.
Contact support via the app if you are unsure whether it is safe to continue driving.
📌 If you do not feel safe continuing the drive, park the vehicle safely and contact support immediately. Do not continue driving if you are unsure.
App Error Messages
If you encounter an error message in the app during your rental:
Note down the exact error message shown.
Take a screenshot if possible.
Contact support via the in-app chat with the error details.
⚠️ Do not attempt to force-close or restart the rental on your own without speaking to support first — doing so may result in unintended charges or the rental remaining active.
