To rent a Flexar vehicle, you must complete a one-time identity and driving licence verification. This ensures all drivers meet the legal requirements to drive in Singapore.

Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have held a valid Singapore driving licence
- Your licence must not be currently suspended or revoked
Verification is completed within the app during sign-up using Singpass. You will be redirected to the Singpass app to confirm your identity and driving licence details — no document uploads or selfies are required.

How the verification works
Verification is completed within the app during sign-up and typically takes just a few minutes.
- Create your Flexar account — provide your name, email address, and phone number in the app.
- Start verification — when prompted, tap “Start Singpass Verification” to begin the identity verification step.
- Open your Singpass app — Flexar will redirect you securely to Singpass to confirm your identity and retrieve your driving licence details.
- Review and consent — Singpass will show you exactly what information will be shared (such as your name, NRIC/FIN, and driving licence details). Review and approve to proceed.

Confirm your details — once redirected back to Flexar, review the information and tap Confirm to complete verification. Make sure to login your Flexar account with the same mobile number / email address used in the Singpass verification.
💡 Tip: When accessing the Singpass website, ensure you are on a 4G connection. If you are on WiFi, please check that your network is not blocking the Singpass website.
6. You’re ready to go! Tap Start Driving to return to the Flexar app and begin your rental.

Note for foreign nationals
Singpass verification is available for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and eligible Singapore pass holders. If you do not have a Singpass account, you can sign up for Singpass at Singpass Portal.
